The same building-physics problem appears on roofs and sun-facing walls: dark or unprotected surfaces absorb solar energy, store heat and push that heat into the building. The NuTech reflective route is specified by substrate and preparation, so it can be used beyond the roof on suitable exterior walls, parapets, cladding and facade surfaces.

The City of Melbourne cool roofs report, with University of Melbourne field testing, supports the key point: high solar reflectance lowers the exterior surface temperature and reduces absorbed heat. That matters for walls too, because a hot facade works like a vertical roof under Dubai sun.

Foam or bulk insulation can help slow heat transfer inside a construction build-up. Reflective coating is different: it reduces the solar heat absorbed by the outside skin in the first place. For UAE buildings, the strongest route is often reflective roof plus reflective wall treatment, with insulation considered as a separate layer when the building needs it.

What is cool wall coating?

How much can wall temperature drop?
