Client problem

A villa roof exposed to Dubai heat with roof-service, edge, drain, parapet and pipe-penetration details requiring waterproofing treatment alongside a reflective roof finish.

Materials

10 pails of Sikalastic-525 RoofPro GCC White supplied to the project.
CoolRoof-approved repair and detailing materials, reinforcing fabric/tape and detail accessories at instructed weak zones.
Pipe insulation and drain-outlet materials where instructed on site.

Preparation

Protection of adjacent villa areas, AC and service items before roof works.
Removal of loose roof layers, damaged protection material, old insulation and small construction debris from instructed zones.
Sweeping, washing, cleaning and drying of roof fields, drains, pipe areas, upstands and detail zones.
Local preparation of weak joints, cracks, penetrations, pipe bases, drains, edges and transitions.

Application steps

Install CoolRoof-approved reinforcing fabric, tape and detail accessories at instructed weak zones.
Apply repair and waterproofing detail materials at cracks, joints, penetrations, pipe bases, drains and transitions.
Apply the reflective roof-coating system and additional local coats at high-risk details where required.
Protect fresh material during drying, complete final cleaning and document practical handover.
